Violinist in the orchestra

Joy In The Congo  The Congo; a country torn by war for sixty years.  It is the last place in the world where you would expect to find a symphony orchestra.  It is the poorest country in the world.  Yes, even poorer than the country that just blew up an 850 million dollar satellite just a few minutes after launch.

It is an incredible story about the poorest people in Africa coming together to form a patchwork of 200 musicians and singers who play and sing Beethoven.  If you love music, you will love this video from 60 Minutes as they show you what determination, dedication, and a love for music can create in such a hopeless place.  Music provides the joy and hope the people have never known.

Absolutely Mind Boggling!
